GfK Market Research Institute reported that the index of consumer confidence in May to its projected to be 2.5 points as of April. Economists expected the index would drop to 2.3 points. Figures for April were revised from 2,4 to 2,5 points. The overall index of consumer confidence shows next month, three podyndeksa: economic expectations, income expectations and purchasing power - mesyatsu.Indeks refer to the current economic expectations in April fell to -31.2 from -32.8 in March, the index of income expectations fell to -- 8.0 to -11.4, while purchasing power has dropped to 12.4 from 13.9.
