The index of business activity in the U.S. rose to 58,4%

Business conditions in the production sector of the U.S. economy have improved significantly in January, reports the Institute of Management, Corporate Supply.

ISM index of business activity in the productive sector rose in January to 58,4% compared with 54,9% in December.

The published value of the index significantly exceeded expectations. Experts predicted that in the reporting period, the index will rise only to a mark of 56.0%.
