Sentix investor confidence indicator for the euro zone unexpectedly fell in February

Sentix investor confidence indicator for the euro zone was a negative 8.2 points in February this year, compared with minus 3.7 points a month earlier. The decline came as a surprise to market participants, as analysts predicted an increase to -2.3 points.

Assessment of current conditions index for the reporting period amounted to minus 19.5 points compared with minus 17.5 points in January. Sentix expectations indicator fell sharply from 11.25 points to 3.75 points.
