The index of business activity in the service sector in the U.S. rose to 50,5%

According to the survey conducted among the companies of the Institute of Management, Corporate Supply, growth of the service sector in the United States resumed in January.

ISM non-productive sector index rose in January to 50,5% compared with 49,8% in December.

Experts expect more significant growth rate to a mark of 51.0%.

Note that the index was above 50% during the first two months of autumn last year, but fell below that mark in November and December.
