Number of applications for unemployment benefits in the United States dropped more than expectations

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the number of Americans who first applied for unemployment insurance, unexpectedly fell last week to 440 thousand to 483 thousand revised the previous week.
Analysts expected reduction in the number of hits on 15 thousand from 480 thousand to 465 thousand

The number receiving unemployment benefits Americans also fell more than expectations and amounted to 4,538 million compared with a revised value of 4,617 million experts predicted decline by 2 thousand from the previous level of 4,602 million
