This month in the euro area recorded the deteriorating business climate

In February, the business climate in the euro area declined slightly. This is evidenced by the data presented in the report of the European Commission.



The index of business climate in the euro fell to minus 3.51 point from the revised minus 3 points in January.



In addition, the index of business sentiment in the area of the single European currency has declined in February compared with January at 1.8 point and the point was 65.4, the index of business sentiment in the euro area in January was revised downward - from 68, 9 to 67.2 points. The industry index fell to minus 33 to minus 36 points in the service sector - from minus 22 to minus 23, while the consumer sector - from minus 31 to minus 33.



When the index of business sentiment in the 27 EU countries this month decreased by 2.2 points - to 61 point, its lowest level since January 1985.
