The President congratulated Fyodorova assumption of the head of administration of NAO

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated Igor Fedorov's assumption of the head of administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO). This is stated in the press service of the President.

Earlier today, during an extraordinary session of the Assembly of Deputies Nenets Fedorov has been given the authority to the head of administration. Candidacy of the Governor, the President's proposal, supported by 14 deputies, one deputy voted against.

February 16, the president accepted the resignation of Governor Valery Potapenko NAO on their own volition, and Acting Head of the District appointed Fyodorova, making his candidacy in zaksobranie for approval at this position.
