Britain's trade deficit rose more than expected in January

The overall trade deficit (Total trade balance) Great Britain amounted to £ 3,8 billion in January compared with £ 2,6 billion in the previous month, reports the National Statistics Office. The value index surpassed expectations of analysts, forecast an increase in the deficit to £ 3,0 billion

UK trade deficit excluding trade with the European Union (Non-EU Trade Balance) amounted to £ 4,9 billion in January against the £ 3,4 billion in December. Analysts expected shortfall at £ 3,35 bn
