Producer prices in Britain rose by 0.3% in February

The index of prices manufacturers in the UK rose by 0.3% in February, reflecting rising prices for chemicals, tobacco or alcohol.

Compared with the same period last year, the producer price index rose by 4,1%.

The index of prices excluding volatile prices for food, beverages, tobacco products and gasoline has increased in annual terms by 2,9%. Compared with the previous month, this figure had increased by 0,3%.
