Number of applications for unemployment benefits in the United States fell to 521 thousand

The number of primary applications for unemployment insurance in the United States has declined over the week to October 3 to 33 thousand to 521 thousand according to U.S. Department of Labor, is a record low value of the index since early January this year. The average value of the index over the past four weeks fell by 9 tons to 539.75 thousand
Economists expected reduce the number of applications for unemployment benefits to a mark of 540 thousand
The number of Americans continuing to receive unemployment benefits decreased by one week to September 26 to 72 thousand . up to 6.04 million people, being at its lowest level since late March.
