Eurozone GDP fell by 0.2% in the second quarter

The revised data of the EU statistical agency Eurostat, index of gross domestic product (GDP) of the eurozone fell by 0.2% in the second quarter of this year. Recall that in the previous quarter Eurozone GDP fell by 2.5%.
On an annual basis Eurozone GDP fell by 4.8% in the second quarter, compared with -4.9% in the first quarter.
The volume of imports fell by 2.9% in the second quarter (revised from -2.8%) compared with -7.9% in the first quarter. The volume of imports fell by 2.9% in the second quarter (revised from -2.8%) compared with -7.8% in the first quarter.
